"Miesto" (I call him Max) is doing really well. He has settled in here in Montana and looks great in western tack. I still use my English saddle in the arena but for long rides out and about, I use my western saddle. He's very sensible, loves to walk across streams and seems to ejoy the country. I plan to take him back to Boston with me for the fall and will keep him at a barn where I used to ride. I'll probably even do a little jumping on him.

Cancun
In April we purchased Cancun, a young, green Holsteiner after trying several young horses at the SVS Viewing. I see Cancun as my opportunity to train and "make" a potentially top level jumper. This July, we attended our first horse show in Wilsonville, Oregon, and I think my instincts about Cancun are proving to be accurate. Already this "baby" is earning high placings in the .85 and .95 jumpers as he quickly moves up through the jumper divisions.
The SVS Viewing was the perfect place to try my new horse. I was able to view a broad variety of horses during a condensed week of viewings and trials plus I was able to ride several horses many times, more than the usual horse trial period, so I could be sure this horse was and is now the right horse for me.

I have been so pleased with everything Cookie and I have accomplished together. In the past year of owning Cookie, we are showing at the training level in eventing, doing 4th level in dressage and also schooling at the Prix St. Geourge level. Le Lapin
I attended the SVS Viewing all the way from my home in Canada in 2011, Lapin is a young talented jumper and is already teaching me a lot. We are attending our first horse show together in Wilsonville, OR, this summer. Winter Eclipse
When my daughter, Samantha, decided to move from the Children's Hunter ring to the Children's Jumpers, I anticipated a 3 month period of trials and travel around the country and quite possibly to Europe to find a suitable horse for her. The SVS Viewing, held annually in Scottsdale, AZ, is so conveniently located for us that it would have been crazy to begin our search anywhere but here. After trying many horses, we found several horses we thought would work for her. We acquired Sammy's favorite and have come to realize what a gem SVS found.
Sammy and her new partner, Winter Eclipse, began schooling with confidence and ease bigger jumps than she, and I for that matter, had ever anticipated. At her first horse show, "Ellie" and Sammy won their first High Children's class and were a close second in the High Children's Classic. Everyone has been asking us where we found this amazing little mare. We are so grateful to the SVS staff for the time they spent allowing us to try Winter Eclipse and the ease with which we completed the process of buying her.

I purchased Solero at the SVS Viewing in March, 2010. I could not have asked for a more well suited horse for my riding goals or a more perfect venue to try a top quality horses. Solero and I are a perfect match. We have been able to show up and down the West Coast at highly competitive shows such as the Del Mar National, the Bend, Oregon horse shows and the Thunderbird horse shows in Vancouver, Canada.
