Guiseppe and Janet Hischer take Top Honors in Oregon's Wilsonville $20,000 Jumper Team Northwest Classic Grand Prix and Reserve Championship in and Bend's Oregon High Desert Classic $25,000 Sheri Allis Memorial Grand Prix "Guiseppe"

Signature Sport Horse Viewing and Sales (SVS) extends its enthusiastic congratulations to Guiseppe on both his championship and reserve championship results in Oregon’s top flight Grand Prix competitions. This 8-year-old Hanoverian gelding was first offered and sold to Mrs. Rahman of Mexico City in the 2009 Signature Sport Horse Viewing and Sales (SVS).
This summer, Guiseppe’s star shined bright in Oregon on the first two legs of his Pacific Northwest tour. He earned a championship in the Wilsonville $20,000 Jumper Team Northwest Jumper Classic Grand Prix (June 22 – 26) with the only double clean round. On July 29, in the Bend ‘s High Desert Classic $25,000 Sheri Allis Memorial Grand Prix on July 30, Guiseppe was the reserve champion being only one of two double clear rounds in a field of 28.
Guiseppe faced stiff competition on both tracks. However, with rider, Janet Hischer of Twisted Tree Farm in the irons, Guiseppe was in a league of his own with his magnificent presence in both venues. Athletic, focused, quick and fluid, Guiseppe made the highly technical 1.45 meter tests on first dirt and then grass classes look effortless. Hischer’s keen mental concentration and physical subtlety and agility as his jockey made everything work over highly technical courses.
Guiseppe is a perfect example of the quality sport horses available to everyone in the equine industry at its annual Signature Sport Horse Viewing & Sales.
Reserve your opportunity to find “your” Guiseppe now. Mark your calendars for the sixth annual SVS viewing in Scottsdale, AZ, on Monday, March 19, 2012, conveniently scheduled in between the two hunter jumper shows at West World in Scottsdale.

Signature Sport Horse Viewing and Sales congratulates Solero and Maggie Lang on their 2011 summer tour through the northwest and Canada. Building upon good solid training and consistency throughout the summer, this “perfect” partnership earned sparkling results:
2nd – Junior Amateur Jumpers, Oregon High Desert Classic, Week 2, Bend, Oregon
1st - $7,500 Emerald Equestrian Mini Prix Evergreen Classic, Carnation, Washington
2nd – Junior Amateur 1.25m Challenge, Thunderbird - Show Park, Vancouver, British Columbia
After tyring Solero ath the 2010 SVS Viewing, Lang was the lucky buyer for Solero. “Just off the boat” from Europe, Solero, now an 11 year old, 16 hands, dark bay German Warmblood, dazzled at first sight. Riding him daily during the SVS week long horse trial period, Lang was confident and excited about their prospects for developing a successful partnership. Slow and steady development through the levels has definitely paid off for this dynamic duo.

Signature Sport Horse Viewing and Sales (SVS) congratulates Region V’s Taylor
Lindsten and Cookie on their Team Silver at the North American Junior Young
Riders’ Dressage Championships in Kentucky and their Individual 8th Place at the Junior National Collecting Gaits Championships in New York in 2011. Additional
congratulations to this pair for winning the 2010 Coconino Challenge in Flagstaff at
beginning novice in eventing.
Lindsten spotted Cookie, a then 12-year-old 16.1 Dutch Warmblood gelding imported from Holland, during the week-long viewing and trials of the 2010 Signature Sport Horse Viewing & Sales. “What I felt when I rode him and what I saw when my trainer, Alice Sarno, rode him was totally consistent,” said this now 18 year old Arizonan. “I knew he had a strong background in dressage, then trained at 3rd level, but I was surprised he turned out to be a truly great dressage horse. What you see is what you get both at home and in the show ring. No temperament issues, no spooking, no nothing, no matter where he is.”
This 18 year old has been riding since the age of seven. Inspired by her mom, Lindsten is committed to pursuing an upper-level riding career in dressage and eventing. Currently, she is a full time working student with Nancy Later in Florida. Her immediate goals with Cookie are to again qualify for the North American Junior Young Riders Dressage Championships and the Junior National Collecting Gaits Championships during 2012.
Lindsten credits her mother, “…a true horse woman,” Alice Sarno, Lendon Gray and Paula Paglia for her opportunities and accomplishments in the horse world. And, Lindsten credits Cookie for his great work ethic, his outstanding movement, and his enormous generosity. “Without Cookie, I wouldn’t have been able to do what I’m getting to do now.”
SVS has every confidence in Lindsten and Cookie to repeat their outstanding performances in the national dressage spotlight for young riders in 2012. With Lindsten’s dedication to the process of implementing small steps daily, maintaining soundness and a disciplined work ethic coupled with Cookie’s consistency, lateral movements and motivation to please, it’s a good bet this partnership will achieve more national rewards in the world of dressage.
